Enrique “Henry” Alvarez

Assistant Property manager

Henry has been working for The Newhall Land and Farming Company since 1977 and has been involved with filming on the property since 2000. In his 21 years of experience (with scouting, site representation and contracting) he has seen it all and has earned the affectionate nickname of “Hollywood Henry.” He is supremely knowledgeable of the ranch’s terrain, diverse looks and numerous structures and will help you find the perfect location for your shoot.

Beth Cooke

Project coordinator

Beth has been with Newhall Film since 2017. She works with the contracting team and insurance compliance department to make sure things are in order prior to production’s arrival and coordinates with employees, contractors and the other farming activities to help ensure your shoot goes off without a hitch.

Nothing but the land.

We like to think of our property as “build to suit.” If you need it, you’re welcome to bring it. Everything from props to set pieces. All we ask is that you leave the land as you found it. We’re happy to show you around and help you find the perfect spot for all your filming needs — but we’ll leave the rest up to you.

Active farms and ranches

This land is a lot more than film location sites. It’s home to a collective of working farms and ranches. Cattle are raised, crops are grown, and we work to conserve the land throughout the year. There’s also a variety of buildings, facilities and private roads on the property — all of which can be used by filming crews and studios.
